Bob Astrope ( 1937 - ) was raised in the Shingle Mill which is on Powell Lake. He had two sisters and two brothers. He worked for the Powell River Company pulp and paper mill and was a Corporation of the District of Powell River Councillor for two terms. He, along with others, organized a successful weekend reunion of former Shingle Mill workers and dwellers in 1992.
The collection consists of a letter of intent, images and photocopied images that were given to Astrope and a newspaper clipping.
