Audree Carrie nee Bissett ( 1921-2004 ) was born in Vancouver. . Her family moved to Stillwater in the Powell River district in 1925. She had one sister, June. Her step-father was Art Reed who owned and operated a taxi company. Audree married Jim Carrie and they raised their children in Powell River. During World War 2 Audree worked in the Powell River Company mill as a pulp tester. She was a member of a variety of local organizations until her death in Powell River in 2004. The collection consists of receipts and withdrawal forms from the Powell River Company and Local 76 and nine photographs.
