Art Ross ( 1922 - ? 1998) was born in ……… The family lived in Powell River ( now known as the Townsite ) until 1930 when they moved to Westview. They lived in a log cabin that Ross’s father built on what is known as Abbotsford Street. In 1933 Art joined the Westview Scout Troop and was active in the scouting movement until 1968. He became District Commissioner in 1960 and eventually handed the position over to Arnold Murray. Ross was an active member of the Powell River Genealogy Group. He married Alma and they had ? children.
