The Squatters Creek Water Users Community was formed in 1929. They were concerned with having enough water held in reserve for fire fighting purposes as well as enough to supply a burgeoning population. This volunteer group built the ram at Squatters Creek at the corner of Joyce and Courtenay Street and laid the pipes. They merged with the Westview Light Power and Waterworks District in the late 1930’s.

The fonds consists of records of the Squatters Creek Water Users Community. Includes minutes, correspondence, notice and lists.
