Ernest Stonier (1903-1977) started work with the Powell River Company in 1930 and was an electrical inspector until his retirement from MacMillian Bloedel in 1968. He and his wife Dora (1904-1982) lived at 5450 Laburnum Ave in the Townsite. They had two sons, Peter and Barrie. The Stoniers were initiated and were involved in the PR & District Civic Music Association albums and the Powell River Players.

The fonds consist of records of the Stoniers. Include the leased and purchase documents of their house, pension plan documents, financial records, personal inventory cards and photographs.
