Biographical Sketch: Thomas Adam Wyborn [1897-1982] was born in Ontario and moved to Powell River to work for the Powell River Company in 1928. He married Julie Eveylin [1903-1978] in 1924 and they had one child. Wyborn worked as a Steam Engineer until his retirement in 1962. Wyborn was active in Powell River community events and was a member of the International Order of the Oddfellows, the Lawn Bowling club and was one of those responsible for forming the PR Agricultural Society of which he was the vice president. Through this involvement he raised money for the building of the Willingdon Arena.

Scope and Content: The collection consists of a photograph album that images of the Willingdon Arena, photograph of Jack Frame’s hockey team and clippings. The images include Boiler Room of Willingdon Arena, Stevenson, Russ Evans,Bob? Mr. Cooper, model of Arena, Willingdon Arena construction site and Chuck Taylor, H. Stevenson, and Eric Anderson
